Range Hood Assembly Line

This range hood assembly line is a dedicated pipeline for kitchen appliance manufacturing. The whole range hood production line adopts up & down circulating double speed chain conveyor structure, with high-strength tooling pallets as load-bearing units. The upper layer is for product assembly, while the lower layer realizes automatic empty pallet return without manual pallet transfer, saving workshop space greatly. The line automatically completes workpiece transportation, precise positioning, station buffering and sequential transfer. Each workstation works independently and interlocks as a whole. The conveying speed can be adjusted flexibly according to production capacity. This range hood assembly line supports mixed production of multiple hood models without modifying main frame, suitable for multi-variety, medium & large batch production. Each workstation is fitted with positioning jigs to fix range hood housing, equipped with pneumatic tools for fast screw tightening, facilitating assembly of internal motors, electric control components and wiring. It solves workpiece shifting issues, reduces wiring errors and missing screws and improves assembly stability.

The line frame adopts thickened aluminum alloy profile structure, sturdy and stable for long-time heavy-load continuous operation. Long strip lighting is installed above each station with green baffles and reserved mounting positions for work instruction boards. Multiple emergency stop buttons and audible & visual alarm devices are equipped, with overload protection, station boundary protection and jam shutdown protection for operator safety. Yellow warning marking lines are arranged on workshop floor for material zoning management to meet 5S management standards.

The line is equipped with industrial PLC centralized control system and touch screen terminal. It supports full line start-stop, individual workstation control, beat adjustment, real-time status monitoring and fault diagnosis. The system records workpiece transfer and process data to realize full assembly traceability. It can locate faults like pallet jamming or positioning error for quick maintenance and reduce downtime.

Compared with discrete fixed bench assembly, this range hood assembly line realizes continuous flow production along double speed chain. Workers are assigned fixed workstations and single process, cutting redundant heavy workpiece handling and unnecessary movement, lowering labor intensity. Refined process division and unified standards reduce wiring misconnection, missing parts and improper motor installation, improving finished product yield.
